Dental Veneers

Dental veneers are used to correct a number of common cosmetic problems. If you’re concerned about any of these issues, veneers may be the answer for you: Dull, dark teeth, Disproportionate teeth, Short teeth, Crooked teeth, Chipped or damaged enamel. As you can see dental veneers can be used to suit one or multiple cosmetic problems at the same time. Dental veneers are also made of porcelain, which means that they can easily be molded and shaped to complement your smile. Another benefit of porcelain veneers is that they can be shaded and colored to blend with your other teeth. Some patients worry that veneers will look fake or dull, however porcelain veneers are multi-dimensional—they reflect and absorb light similarly to natural enamel. Consequently, they look both natural and radiant. Because they can be custom shaded, your veneers will complete your smile, not compete with your natural teeth. Dental veneers are an exceptional cosmetic option because they can be tailored to fit each individual patient. You can change the shape, size, shade, and straightness of your teeth with one easy solution. Dental Implants

Dental Implants are small prosthetic posts that are placed into the bone of the upper or lower jaw. They act as replacements for the root portion of lost natural teeth and also serve as an anchor for replacement teeth. Dental implants look and feel exactly like natural teeth, and are appropriate for almost anyone who is currently missing teeth or is at risk of losing teeth. Zoom Whitening

There are many reasons why our teeth become discolored or darken over the years, and while there are many resources available for whitening them, the Zoom! Whitening system gives an immediate safe, and successful, result, and is done only in your dentist’s office. Zoom! Whitening is the most technologically advanced system on the market today, and a far more effective treatment plan than at-home kits and (surprisingly) many other resources found in some dental offices. In a little more than an hour, Advanced Dentistry can provide you with the results you have been looking for using the technology behind the Zoom! Whitening system. Composite fillings

Often referred as "bonding," composite fillings are tooth colored and can be done immediately as emergency repair of broken teeth. Composite fillings can also be used to replace unaesthetic old silver fillings. Click HERE to see examples of Dr. Sorokolit's composite fillings.

Smile Aesthetic Reshaping

Sometimes a tremendous improvement can be made to your smile just through reshaping your natural teeth. Enameloplasty, removal of a thin amount of enamel, can often remove stains and correct the chips or “jagged edges,” and can be done quickly and without the need for any anesthetic. Based on your natural teeth and specific facial features, Dr. Sorokolit will work with your expectations to help guide you to a beautiful smile exactly suited to you.

Invisalign

Invisalign is a remarkable system of invisible aligners that help straighten teeth comfortably without metal bands, brackets or wires. The pieces are easily removable so you can eat, drink, brush and floss. Click HERE to learn more about Invisalign.

NTI/Nightguard

In some cases, headaches and migraines are caused by tension from clenching or grinding in your sleep. When this happens, wearing a device at night called an NTI appliance takes the pressure off your jaw and eliminates or reduces the headaches or migraines. This appliance is the first clinically proven, non-drug method for the prevention of migraines. The NTI-tss is a small, virtually invisible mouthpiece that covers only your upper front teeth while you sleep. This appliance may be indicated for daytime wear also. Periodontal Gum Disease

The word periodontal means “around the tooth”. Periodontal disease attacks the gums and the bone that support the teeth. Plaque is a sticky film of food debris, bacteria, and saliva. If plaque is not removed, it turns into calculus (tartar). When plaque and calculus are not removed, they begin to destroy the gums and bone. Periodontal disease is characterized by red, swollen, and bleeding gums.

Root canals

Root canals can prevent tooth decay and loss when the pulp (soft core of the tooth that provides nutrients) is damaged due to bacterial infection in a deep cavity, crack or other problem. Despite its unwarranted reputation as a painful ordeal, a root canal is normally as comfortable a procedure as the placement of a filling, and can usually be completed in a single visit within one hour. During the procedure, the damaged pulp is removed, the root canal is cleaned and sealed off, and a crown is bonded to the tooth (sometimes a temporary filling is placed first) to maintain strength.

Dentures/Partial Dentures

Dentures take the place of missing natural teeth, improving function and appearance. They reduce and equalize the biting forces on remaining natural teeth while boosting self-confidence. Full dentures are used when all of a patient's teeth need to be replaced. Partial dentures are used when only a few teeth are missing. In either case, dentures can help you look and feel your best.
